The Finished ESK 12!
This is the most satisfying part of the job, when the day finally comes to launch the boat into the water! I chose a summer day and launched on the river near Wareham in my home county of Dorset. I have included a few pictures of that day on the river. Mouse over the thumbnails to see the album

So this is the story of building my first kayak; I am pleased with the result and I have now completed many river journeys in her. She handles well and is easy to paddle with room for storage of day trip food and spare kit in the rear compartment. She is fast, easy to paddle and ideal for flat water river and estuary trips.
