This page has been included to enable me to share information on some of my Canoe and kayak trips. I intend adding items to these pages as I have time to write them.
The first trip added is a 5 day Great Glen canoe and camping expedition with a group from the Holme Pierrepont Canoe club. The Great Glen is a series of lakes running across the width of Scotland that are joined by canals to form the Caledonian Canal which runs from Fort William on the west coast to Inverness on the east coast. The trip travels along the length of Loch Ness but we saw no monster!

Here is some information about a luxurious way to canoe the Norfolk Broads. My wife and I took a 3 day open canoe trip down the River Bure starting at Buxton Mill above Coltishall and paddling down to Horning in stages. The trip is well organised and all equipment is supplied together with packed lunches, daily bed and breakfast at pubs along the route and luggage transported to the next stop each day.
